Her first talk early in April, More time being – Less time doing was limited to 15 people and the response to her talk was overwhelming.

Surrounded by her powerful Fine Art Photographs in her exquisite gallery Marlene connected with people from all over the world. It was a early morning for two excited Americans both were up before the sun on the East Coast of America.

The intimate morning was spent with Marlene sharing her expansive knowledge and life experiences. The power of the virtual world created a save space for all to listen, share and learn.

Drawing on her years of teaching experience, inspiring talks and her compassion Marlene shared her thoughts about the current challenges that have presented themselves, the carona virus, the lockdown and the emotions that have been shaken loose.

Her talk, using multi media techniques to create awareness created a virtual community of like-minded individuals. Sharing the time being and leaving all in the chat rooms feeling connected and ready to step back into doing.

Marlene’s work has been featured in the January edition of SAFAIR In Flight Magazine.

“Neumann’s collection is vast and covers a range of subjects such as landscapes, her travels, wildlife and more. One specific range that is close to her heart is her black-and-white range­­ – a collection of provocative, striking and powerful imagery. ‘Fine art photography is about emotion, intuition and connection,’ she says. ‘I am interested in the spirit, the essence of the subject, not the colours. I want the message t has for me to be seen by the world. Back in the day I would never speak freely about the subject, I had to guard what I said or I would not be taken seriously. Marlene is exhibiting at Vincent Park!

Marlene is exhibiting her photographs at Vincent Park Shopping Centre in East London this week. Times are from 8am to 5pm until the 21st of December. The exhibition features work from Marlene’s extensive dark room and black and white range. Marlene’s book, DVD series and workshop gift vouchers are also available. These make thoughtful gifts.

Marlene’s dark room range consists of over 120 images. Her collection spans over a period of 30 years.

Her black and white images range from seascapes to lions. Choosing from this collection would make the perfect addition to any space.

Sky meets Land showcases the compelling photographs and reflective journey of Master Fine Art Photographer Marlene Neumann. Marlene refers to her book as a metaphor for “mind meets heart”. Marlene has launched her summer mailer campaign this week.  In this newsletter, she discusses all the things that have been happening over the past season.

PRINTER– With her new Epson P9000 Printer, Marlene will now be able to print her images at sizes up to 1118 x 1725mm. This will make them perfect for statement pieces on double volume walls. They will also be perfect for entrance halls and board rooms because of the impact the images will have at this size. Watch this space for more news on Marlene’s Extra Large images…

MAKING A DIFFERENCE- Marlene has been giving talks around the East London area as part of her campaign to teach everyone that they can make a difference. These past few months alone she has spoken to school children as well as the elderly. Her talks have been successful at inspiring all audiences. Marlene Neumann’s Buckaroo Sterilization Project has received some excellent news! Local vets and the East London SPCA will assist with the sterilization project and as a result, 28 dogs are being sterilized every month. This will have a massive knock on effect in the area and improve the health and well-being of the dogs that are sterilized.

Donations of food, blankets, kennels (or materials to build kennels), water bowls, leads and collars can be donated at Marlene’s Centre 8 Kent Road, Vincent. Contributions to the Buckaroo fund can be made online or by contacting Marlene directly at neumann@worldonline.co.za or at 083 321 3391. It’s that time of year again! The Marlene Neumann Centre for Photography and Light was open as part of the Pam Golding Gardens of East London Show. There were craft and food stalls at the Centre and Buckaroo himself made an appearance. Over 15k was raised for the charity, which will go towards the sterilisation drive.
