Marlene is hosting unique LIVE online talks via video conferencing.

Her first talk early in April, More time being – Less time doing was limited to 15 people and the response to her talk was overwhelming.

Surrounded by her powerful Fine Art Photographs in her exquisite gallery Marlene connected with people from all over the world. It was a early morning for two excited Americans both were up before the sun on the East Coast of America.

The intimate morning was spent with Marlene sharing her expansive knowledge and life experiences. The power of the virtual world created a save space for all to listen, share and learn.

Drawing on her years of teaching experience, inspiring talks and her compassion Marlene shared her thoughts about the current challenges that have presented themselves, the carona virus, the lockdown and the emotions that have been shaken loose.

Her talk, using multi media techniques to create awareness created a virtual community of like-minded individuals. Sharing the time being and leaving all in the chat rooms feeling connected and ready to step back into doing.

Marlene has scheduled her next talk for Saturday, 11th April at 2 pm (South African time)

Marlene hosted her 86th Weekend Workshop on Creative Photography last weekend and it was overwhelmingly successful. Everyone who attended felt more aware of their surroundings and awake by the end of the weekend. All except Tigger, the center guardian!  The course is aimed at anyone who needs a shift in the way they think and feel about photography and about their lives. Boxes and boxes of old press releases, articles and newspaper clippings have scattered the office floors over the past few days. Finding articles, scanning them in and digitizing over 32 years of work allows for moments of reflection and time to pause and see how much Marlene’s world has changed. For the next couple of weeks, Marlene will be posting Throwback Thursdays on Facebook to give you insight into her career and her many hairstyle changes!
